re Welcome......to the Ongar Community Council (OCC) web site. OCC was formed in July 2008 and was previously known as Ongar Residents Association Committee (ORAC), which was formed in February 2007. OCC represents Ongar Village, Ongar Park, Ongar Wood, and Ongar Green. Our vision is to encourage a well integrated community, whilst addressing the many social challenges. We encourage members of the community to get involved in their estates through the many projects OCC has undertaken. Together we can achieve our goals and create community spirit. We would be delighted to hear from you. Please take some time to explore our web site and revisit from time to time for updates.

Hi My Name is Samantha
Dooley and I have been the Ongar Community Council Chairperson for the past 3 years.
I will be stepping down in our AGM, which will be held on February, Monday
22nd, 2010 at 8pm in Ongar Green's E.T.
My work will continue on, as I have been the first elected person from Ongar onto the Fingal Volunteer & Community Forum. I will continue to bring our issues to light with my work on this council. I would like to thank all of you for your kind words and emails over the years and it has been a pleasure serving you.
All of Ongar estates and Barnwell residents are invited to the AGM.
I look forward to seeing you there.
Regards, Samantha Dooley.
