Ongar Community Council AGM February 2010, 22nd, Monday @ 8pm - 10pm.
All Ongar estate residents and Barnwell's new estate residents are welcom and invited.
 
There will be seats available on the council as well as some executive seats, ie the Chairperson role will be up for grabs.
 
This is a very important time for Ongarians!  The OCC has a long list of work completed and with a good team of volunteers this can continue to happen.

3rd October - Ongar Community Fun Day & Community Consultation

A wide variety of fun activities and information on Local Services will be on display in Castaheaney Educate Together National School.


Local residents are invited to participate in Planning For Real Community Consultation

to raise local issues or suggestions to improve the area.

First Neighbourhood Watch Scheme launched for Ongar Village

The launch of the first Neighbourhood Watch group in Ongar Village.  
Area co-coordinator, Samantha Dooley and street co-ordinators and residents from the participating streets (listed) met with local community Gardai, Louise and Sinead to launch the neighbourhood watch in this area.

The Crescent - Dessie Doyle
The Paddocks - Marrion Murphy
Chipping Terrace - Paster Thomas Mamphaga
Chipping Row - Breda Achom

David Wallis, from WPM was also in attendance and offered to fund Neighbourhood Watch signage, which will be erected by Fingal Co. Council in the area.

Ongar Community Council has registered domain ongar.ie as its main web address.
